SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK

ON ARE WAY THERE, WE DROVE THROUGH ORANGE GROVES & OIL WELLS WITH THE MOUNTAINS ALWAYS ON OUR EAST SIDE (NEVADA RANGE MOUNTAINS.

THEY SAY THIS TREE IS 2100 YRS OLD!

WHEN WE ENTERED THE PARK IT WAS 82 DEGREES WHEN WE TOOK THIS PICTURE IN WAS 38 DEGREES & WE WERE AT 8000 FT ELEVATION, LAST NIGHT THAT GOT ANOTHER 16" OF SNOW!

The kids and I read a book several years back called "Kildee House" about a man who lived in an hollowed Sequoia.
